City of Vancouver / Broadway Plan conceptual skyline rendering.
Our project is located in the heart of the Broadway Plan at 922-950 West Broadway, at the southwest corner of the intersection of West Broadway and Laurel Street near Vancouver General Hospital – next to the future Oak-VGH Skytrain station.
The Broadway Plan area is centred on Broadway, from Clark Drive in the east to Vine Street in the west and 1st Avenue to 16th Avenue. It includes the three established neighbourhood of Kitsilano, Fairview and Mount Pleasant as well as the southern section of the False creek Flats.
It encompasses 860 hectares (2,125 acres) of land with 485 city blocks. It measures approximately 5.8 kilometres from east to west, and 1.5 kilometres from north to south.
Our project is located in the Uptown Office District within the Broadway Plan. Uptown comprises the second largest concentration of job space in the province and is the heart of Central Broadway, Vancouver’s “second downtown”.
It contains major employers such as City Hall, Vancouver General Hospital and an abundance of health-related offices and research facilities such as the BC Cancer Centre.
PROJECTED Growth
The Broadway Plan was approved by Vancouver City Council on June 22, 2022 and has been in effect as of September 1, 2022. The 30-year plan focuses on opportunities to integrate housing, jobs, and amenities around the new Broadway Subway.

The Broadway Subway Project will incorporate six stations:
The Broadway Subway is a tunnelled extension of the Millennium Line Sky Train through the Central Broadway area and a key new link in the Metro Vancouver region’s rapid transit system that will better connect Vancouver with eastern growth centres via Expo Line and West Coast Express –such as Burnaby, Coquitlam and Surrey–and, eventually west to UBC.
The Broadway Subway will also connect with the Canada Line, providing improved connection to Downtown, the Vancouver International Airport, and Central Richmond.
In 2018, TransLink and the City of Vancouver signed a Supportive Policies Agreement (SPA) for the Broadway Subway. The SPA requires the City to complete a Broadway Plan, including sections on land use, housing and transportation. Key objectives of the SPA include helping to shape the future of the Broadway Plan as a focal point for higher-density development, focusing on affordable housing, expanded employment opportunities, and improved transportation options.
